Two ferrule fittings have been successfully tested against ASTM-F1387 with flawless results. While our stainless steel tube fitting may be used on stainless steel tubing with a hardness of Rb90 maximum, We suggest that whenever possible, specify a maximum hardness of Rb80. The wall thickness selection should be based on the operating pressure, temperature, and shock conditions.Poper tubing selection is essential to the performance of a tubing systeam.
